Nurture your creative spirit while resting your soul by the beautiful Neuse River. I invite you to join me at my home on the water to paint, draw, write, or just relax. I have a light-filled studio with easels to paint, as well as a large yard with fantastic water views of sailboats, gardens, and wildlife to paint/sketch.

What we’ll do:

• Learn to create a sketchbook or travel journal- a keepsake of your time here…to add other trips. (supplies are provided)

• Paint your pet from a photo you love. (supplies provided)

• For those with more experience: bring your own paints and set up on my covered porch to paint the scenery- birds, boats, and the shimmering creek at your feet.

• Or work from a still life set up in my studio, overlooking the creek.

• Read, Nap, Repeat!

Immerse yourself for a span of days with color, creativity, and community.

Meals:

Breakfast and lunch are provided each day. Evenings we venture out into New Bern township together for dinner (not included in the retreat price)

Pricing:

The cost for instruction and lodging is $1075. This includes a single private room and bath, along with complimentary breakfast and lunch.
