Escape the distractions of everyday life and immerse yourself in a small-group artist retreat designed to inspire creativity, growth, and connection. With only a handful of participants, you'll have the time and space to focus deeply on your work while enjoying the encouragement of fellow artists in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Whether you work in oils, acrylics, watercolor, or other water-based media, this retreat offers the opportunity to refine your skills, experiment with new techniques, and strengthen your artistic voice. Easels are provided, and you may choose to paint in my spacious studio or outdoors on the covered porch overlooking the Neuse River, where you'll find endless inspiration in the water, gardens, and local wildlife. Throughout the retreat, I'll be available for demonstrations, one-on-one guidance, and personalized critiques.
Unless otherwise noted, all retreats are held at my home and studio in beautiful New Bern, North Carolina. My light-filled studio overlooks the Neuse River, creating a peaceful setting for creativity and reflection. Each artist will enjoy a private bedroom and bathroom, either in my home (one room includes two twin beds for shared occupancy) or in a nearby Airbnb just steps away.
Your retreat includes a delicious continental breakfast, lunch each day, beverages, and evening wine or beer if desired. Dinners are enjoyed together at some of New Bern's wonderful local restaurants and are paid for individually. There will also be time to explore the charm and history of downtown New Bern, with its waterfront, galleries, shops, and colonial architecture.
